New Computerised Transit System (NCTS5) Impact
HMRC have advised due to the upcoming Customs Declaration Service (CDS) Release, declarations submitted into NCTS5 may be queued on Saturday 6th July 2024 between 21:45 PM and Sunday 7th July 00:01 AM.
NCTS5 will be available during this time and any declarations queued will be held and processed once the maintenance activity has concluded.
HMRC recommend customers submit declarations prior to the downtime to avoid any delay in movements.
