NCTS Service Degradation

HMRC are experiencing problems with the New Computer Transit System (NCTS), and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

You can make goods movements at this time however please be aware that there may be delays in processing. Unless your movement is urgent HMRC recommend waiting until the issues are resolved.

For those intending to use transit to move goods under the normal procedure and have not yet departed, HMRC recommend that they do not travel to an Inland Border Facility (IBF) or a port to start a transit movement until the system is working again. There is more information about the Business Continuity Process within the Transit Manual Supplement (TMS).
