HMRC System Downtime Notice

HMRC have informed Albacore they are upgrading their systems on Thursday, June 26, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM BST. This may cause delays for SPS movements due to affected connectivity between IPAFFS and CDS. CDS will be available but some messaging for SPS goods might be delayed. Declarations will be queued during the downtime, and goods may be held under customs holds at BCPs or ports, but will be released automatically once systems are back online. To minimize disruption, HMRC advises submitting declarations outside of the scheduled downtime if possible and avoiding arrivals at BCPs or ports between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM BST on Thursday, June 26.
