CDS Service Downtime Alert

There will be a planned downtime for the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) on Saturday, 29th March 2025, from 20:30 PM GMT to 22:30 PM GMT. During this period, declarations submitted will be processed once the service is back online. Please note that creating, updating, or embarking a goods movement reference (GMR) may be affected. Only goods with pre-lodged declarations attached to a GMR will be permitted to move using the Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS). We recommend checking the declaration status and ensuring you have the necessary permissions before travelling. For further guidance, please refer to the official government resources.
