CDS Planned Downtime

HMRC has advised that there will be a planned CDS (Customs Declaration Service) downtime on Saturday 28th March 2026 20:00 BST to Sunday 29th March 2026 5:45 BST (9.75hrs). Declarations should not be submitted during the outage period. Creating, updating, or embarking a goods movement reference (GMR) during this time might be affected. Only goods with pre-lodged declarations attached to a GMR will be allowed to move using Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS).

Please be informed that the CDS planned downtime has been successfully completed and the service is now available for declaration submission. Normal messaging via CCS-UK is available, please come back to us if this not the case for you. Messages sent during the downtime (if stored in the local queues) will now be transmitted to their destination, please allow some time for the response to be generated and sent back to you.
