CDS – Export Declaration Issue & Information from HMRC

HMRC have issued their apologies for the error that resulted this morning in several declarations being flagged for documentary checks incorrectly. HMRC have now identified and corrected the error, so no further declarations will be affected.

The advice from HMRC is that if you submitted a pre-lodged declaration between 08:55 AM and 09:46 AM this morning, 27th Feb 2025, you may wish to withdraw and resubmit those declarations in order to support HMRC with their work on the backlog.

HMRC would like to notify you that they are working through affected declarations, so delays are expected.

 

There is no need to inform the National Clearance Hub unless further errors arise.
