Cargoes – CDMS Release 26.E – 30th July 2026 – With Downtime.

Dear Customer,

We are making an update to our Customs Declaration Management System (CDMS) on Cargoes, which will require a short period of downtime during the deployment window below.

Release Deployment window:
Date: Thursday, 30th July 2026
Time: 4.30am to 5.30am (1hr UK time)

The update brings the following enhancements to CDMS:

• Net Weight Validator – Declarations (import and export) now contain a ‘Total Net Mass’ field at header level to validate net weight totals at item level against an optional header total.

• Deferment Automation Wizard (Party Directory and Addition functionality) – The first part of a new Deferment Account automation wizard, which automatically adds relevant document codes for guarantee and authorisations.

• The View screen now shows a breakdown of Provisional, Indicative and Final tax amounts liable on a declaration. The Customised reporting module has also been updated report on these data points.
