Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), a component within SBS, allows administrators to fully manage the distribution of updates, released from Microsoft Update, protecting all Windows based desktops and servers on its network. Because the WSUS can store and distribute the updates itself, you save internet bandwidth from not having each machine individually downloading. Many other applications offer central control and updating; not least Anti-Virus3 software, which is vital to network security.
